Vahtamapää consists of four apartments, which offers you a comfortable setting for your vacation, in the middle of the best Saariselkä, just a short walk from the services of Saariselkä (500-700 m).

The apartment is a tall studio that includes everything you need for your vacation: your own kitchen, living room, toilet/shower, sleeping loft and lots of storage space. The size of the apartment is 30 m2 + 17 m2 sleeping loft. The apartment comfortably accommodates a skiing couple or a small family (2 - max. 4 people). The sleeping loft has good mattresses for two, and there are also two sofa beds downstairs.

Unlike other accommodations, you have extensive common spaces at your disposal, such as a spacious sauna section, a living room, a drying room and lots of storage space, as well as a separate ski storage room. There is plenty of storage space for skis on the terrace. A functioning whole makes our guests come back again and again.

In the apartment's own kitchen, you can easily prepare delicacies after a day of skiing. Access to the apartments is through internal corridors. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets.

NOTE: The tenant brings his own sheets and towels and does a careful final cleaning himself (cleaning equipment on site). For the time being, it is not possible to book these through us.

The rental is always complete weekly, changeover day is on Saturdays at 12 noon. Of course, you can always arrive later or leave earlier.

Charging for electric cars is at a nearby gas station (700 m).

SERVICES WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE

All services in the center of Saariselkä are within walking distance (about 500 m - 700 m), you can walk to the grocery store.

It is about a 600 m walk to the airport bus stop (the nearest stop is the Holiday Club or the old Kuukkeli stop). Every flight arriving and departing Ivalo has an airport bus shuttle to Saariselkä (Eskelinen lines) and it takes about 35 minutes.

When staying in Vahtamapää, you don't necessarily need your own car. Arriving by plane is becoming more and more popular.
